Teammate's Help Secures Neal Dulin's Third 2025 Championship
ATLANTA, Ga. -- Angel Resendiz Photos -- Neal Dulin’s weekend at Atlanta Motorsports Park ended with a championship celebration, even if the path to it was anything but straightforward. Competing in the Pro division of the Moonshine Series, Dulin overcame mechanical adversity to secure the 2025 Moonshine Series Pro Championship, capping off a season defined by consistency, speed, and resilience with his third championship of 2025.
Dulin also won the INEX Winter Heat Semi-Pro championship and the INEX National Road Course Championship, achieving a trifecta of consistency and success that began in January and concluded in mid-December.
From the moment he unloaded at AMP, Dulin set the pace. He topped the charts in both practice sessions and followed it up with a strong qualifying run to second on the grid. After a few final adjustments to the car ahead of Race One, he was ready to go when the green flag dropped.
The opening laps were hectic, but Dulin quickly settled into second place and began chasing down race leader Ben Morabito. Just past the halfway mark, trouble struck when the third link in the rear end broke, compromising the car’s handling. Despite the issue, Dulin regrouped, rebuilt momentum, and remarkably held on to finish second, while also recording the fastest lap of the race.
Damage from the mechanical failure prevented Dulin from running his own car in the second feature. However, with the championship still within reach, teammate Rylan Speight stepped in, allowing Dulin to take the green in his Young Lion entry and start and park to lock up the Pro division title officially.
“That’s a wrap on the 2025 season,” Dulin said. “I can’t thank the guys at 860 Motorsports enough for everything they’ve done to make this possible, and I’m grateful to the Lord for giving me this opportunity.”
With the Moonshine Series championship secured, Dulin now turns his attention back to Nevada. He will return to Las Vegas Motor Speedway for Rounds 4 and 7 of the Silver State Road Course Series, continuing his momentum into the 2026 season.
