Driver Bio – Neal Dulin
At just 15 years old, Neal Dulin has already built an impressive resume in Bandolero and Legend Car competition, earning multiple championships while staying grounded and focused on learning every time he’s at the racetrack. A native of Concord, North Carolina, Neal races for 860 Motorsports and has developed a reputation for consistency, maturity, and racecraft well beyond his years.
Bandolero Career
Neal began his racing journey in 2019 in the Beginner Bandolero division, picking up his first win on the Charlotte Motor Speedway 1/5-mile. In 2020, he advanced to the Bandits division after that year’s Summer Shootout and collected three Shootout victories, setting the tone for what would follow.
The 2021 season was a major step forward. Neal earned the Nashville Spring Series Championship with three wins and added titles as the INEX Bandit National Touring Champion and Southeast Bandolero Tour Champion. He also finished 3rd in Bandolero Nationals, 4th in Summer Shootout points, 2nd in Thursday Thunder points, and 3rd in National points, ending the year with 12 wins total.
In 2022, racing in the Outlaw division, Neal captured both the East Coast and West Coast Bandolero Nationals Championships, along with the Winter Nationals Dirt Championship. He also finished 2nd in National Points, 2nd in Thursday Thunder standings (with three wins), and 2nd in Nashville Spring Series points (two wins). Despite some tough mechanical luck at times, he collected 20 wins total that season, wrapping up an outstanding Bandolero career.
Legend Car Career
Neal made the jump to Legend Cars in 2023, competing in the Young Lions division. He earned his first Legend Car win at Caraway Speedway, finished 4th in Nashville Spring Series points, and took 6th in Summer Shootout points, ending the year with two total wins.
The 2024 season marked another breakout year. Neal won the Summer Shootout Championship with three wins, earned the North Carolina Road Course State Championship, finished 3rd in the Road Course World Finals, and took 2nd in National Road Course Points. He also added top-five results in Winter Heat and Winter Nationals competition, finishing the year with three overall wins and six class wins.
Now in 2025, Neal has stepped up to the Semi-Pro division and continued his strong performance. He’s already claimed the Winter Heat Championship (with three wins), a Spring Nationals victory, two Summer Shootout wins, and most recently earned the INEX Road Course National Championship, the Atlanta Motorsports Park Series Championship, and the Road Course World Points Championship. He also placed 2nd in the Road Course World Finals, 5th at the Asphalt Nationals, and 5th in Winter Nationals points — a consistent, championship-level campaign across multiple formats.
Coaching and Mentorship
Beyond his own driving, Neal has turned his attention to helping others through his newly formed Dulin Driver Development Academy. Working with younger racers, he’s already guided his drivers to multiple wins in 2025, proving that his understanding of the craft extends well beyond his own car. Coaching has become an important part of his growth, as he balances competition with leadership and mentorship.
As he continues to develop in Legend Car racing and beyond, Neal remains focused on racing hard, representing 860 Motorsports with pride, and building a strong foundation for the next steps in his career as both a driver and a mentor to the next generation of racers. His long-term goal in racing is to compete full-time in the IMSA Series, where he hopes to continue learning, competing, and growing at the highest levels of sports car racing.
